汇报提要：Statistical modeling is an essential tool for biological inquiry fueled by the exploding sequencing capabilities of next generation sequencing technology. By integrating DNA sequencing, RNA sequencing and single-based DNA methylation data using statistic model, we can explore the fundamental biological questions to an unprecedented depth. In this talk, we will introduce some of our recently developed statistical models. The models have been successfully applied to transcription factor binding sites identification, metagenomic analysis and epigenetic analysis.
